Cafe Cuba are now serving fully-loaded waffles for breakfast

Cafe Cuba are now offering fully-loaded waffles with savoury toppings for breakfast. Available at their Pama and Sliema outlets, the gourmet breakfast waffle offering includes:

- A Bacon & Mushroom Waffle (with bacon, garlic marinated mushrooms, truffle cream sauce, grana shavings and parsley).

- A Full English Waffle (with fried egg, grilled sausage, bacon, baked beans, sweet onion jam, rucola and cherry tomato).

- A Waistline Waffle (with guacamole, cream cheese, cucumber, olives, tomato and parsley).

I've not tried these yet but I am a big fan of waffles with savoury toppings, especially the American favourite of chicken and waffles. The sweet and salty flavour combinations tick all the boxes.

So give avo on toast and eggs benedict a tiny break and try something different.
