A €10 ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT JAMAICAN AND INDIAN CHARITY DINNER IN MARSASKALA IN AID OF EXPAT'S FATHER'S FUNERAL COST
Mazza's, a primarily North Indian restaurant in Marsaskala (who also dabble in other cuisines), are hosting a €10 per head charity dinner tomorrow (Monday 30th December) for a very worthy cause.
They are opening the restaurant especially from 4pm - 10pm to dish out a freshly-prepared all-you-can-eat sit down meal, where all three chefs will be donating their time. The menu will include:
- Indian chicken curry and rice
- Jamaican goat curry with rice and peas
- Jamaican chicken curry with rice and peas
- Jamaican chicken stew
- Maltese imqarrun (baked penne with meat sauce)
All proceeds will go towards the cost of a funeral for a young British expat whose father recently passed away (she prefers not to be named). She currently cannot afford to lay him to rest and the owner of Mazza's is a family friend who has also donated his car to help her with transportation.
The meal is an all-you-can-eat at only €10, you can order what you want but you cannot ask for take-away.
