A Bib Gourmand restaurant has just launched weekend brunches

There are brunches... and then there are Bib Gourmand level brunches. Not only am I excited knowing the quality of the restaurant, but I am pretty much sure this one will become one of the best brunch spots on the island.




Commando Restaurant in Mellieha, who are not only Michelin-recommended, but have also been awarded a Bib gourmand, are now offering delectable weekend brunches at affordable prices (in fact the prices are cheaper or on par with a lot of Malta's usual or overrated brunch spots). 




This mouth-watering menu includes shakshuka (10EUR), fried eggs with thick cut maple bacon and Cumberland sausages (10EUR), croque madame, (9EUR), poached eggs on top of English muffins with either bacon, avo or smoked salmon (11EUR), and more. 




If you don't fancy your typical brunch dishes or eggs, a plethora of pastas, salads, meat and seafood dishes will also be available. I for one have my eye on the whole roast chicken.

You'll also be able to have bottomless prosecco for two hours at 15EUR per person.




If you've been to Commando Restaurant or have ever seen the dishes they plate out, you'll see why a) they've been awarded with a Bib Gourmand and b) why brunch there will be a game changer. 

Brunches are available Saturdays (9.30am - 3pm) and Sundays (9.30am - 12.30pm).
