Malta is getting a brand spanking new theatre... a food theatre that is. Curious?
Opening this August in St Julian's, the Food Theatre will offer a variation of cuisine from six different kitchen stalls... all under one roof. Do not mistake it for a food court though, as it'll include a full waiter service.
The food stalls include a Japanese kitchen stall (Yoshi), a Turkish stall brought to you by Mutfak (a new outlet on the island), Chinese food from Red Dragon, a vegan and (completely) gluten-free offering from B.A.M, a burger kitchen from Momia Burgers and of course, a Maltese kitchen stall (Momia Kitchen)!
Diners will certainly enjoy the unique theatre style seating with a demonstration and entertainment platform area. Dishes can be enjoyed in the indoor or outdoor common seating spaces.
The food theatre will also be on the same floor as the award-winning (and one of my favourites) Indian Restaurant – Rasoi Authentic Indian KItchen.
The space's very own swimming pool (POOL2015) will be available for a pre or post meal swim.
By the sounds of it, it looks like it'll deserve a standing ovation.
