HAMRUN CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL 2019: HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR

Whether you're a chocolate fanatic, a foodie, an art lover or just fancy doing something a little different, then I suggest you head over to Hamrun's annual chocolate festival on 26th October.

This year, the Hamrun Chocolate Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. Not only will there be tons of stalls showcasing some of the best chocolate products and foods (including choc-flavoured wine), you can also expect chocolate body painting, an interactive chocolate story from ITS, chocolate canvas painting, live demonstrations featuring chocolate recipes, choc tattoos and plenty of live entertainment.

Local restaurants have even designed special menus for the evening including Bandit who will offer candied bacon (deep-fried bacon dipped in chocolate and topped with sprinkles), a burger with shoulder of pork that's been slow-cooked in a chocolate and chili sauce, mini deep-fried doughnut balls, waffles dipped in chocolate with various toppings and more.

Prepare to be amazed by the jaw-dropping realistic chocolate sculptures created by Chris Zammit, Steve D'Anastasi and Paul Joachin.

The event starts at 6pm and ends at around 11pm.
