MALTA'S NEW STREET FOOD STALL OFFERS SMOKED MEATS... COOKED LOW N SLOW

'Rubbed, smoked and handcrafted'. That's the motto of Notorious Smokehouse, the newest kid on Malta's street food block.

Notorious Smokehouse, which launched last week, dishes out meat, meat...and more meat (smoked and cooked slow and low).

Their menu will change weekly but you can expect hickory smoked baby back ribs and chicken wings, both of which are dry-rubbed, smoked for two hours, glazed with a homemade bourbon BBQ sauce, and then charred for that crispy skin.

You can find them every Thursday at Muzika festival in Bkara, from 6pm (for the next nine weeks).

Today, they'll be serving meat lovers a hickory smoked pulled chicken leg sandwich served with local homemade fries and 8-hour sous vide pork belly chunks served on bed of rice with homemade sweet chilli sauce, and broad beans.

They also make their own iced tea. Today's will be cherry and hibiscus.

Make sure to follow them on Facebook as they'll be popping up at other events and festivals too.
