MICHELIN-STARRED CHEF ANGELO CARANNANTE TO HOST A SEVEN-COURSE DINNER IN NAXXAR
On February 14th, Palazzo Parisio will once again invite a Michelin star chef to take over the kitchen of their Luna restaurant... and it's the perfect V Day event for epicureans who are either loved-up with a human, or with food.
Expect a luxe seven-course menu prepared by the renowned Angelo Carannante from Naples (and the reason why the region of Bacoli now has a star).
The menu on the night is as follows:
- Reconstructed tomato filled with tuna tartare, anchovy essence and lemon
- Pork cheek with chocolate and ponzu sauce
- Red prawns in chickpea foam with tosazu and lime
- A Neapolitan specialty of pasta and potatoes with smoked tea, goat cheese and black truffle
- A modern take on risotto alla pescatore with clams, sea urchins and cuttlefish ink
- Beef fillet with pumpkin, tangerine and liquorice
- Angelo’s take on a Neapolitan classic - Delizia a Limone
Chef Angelo Carannante gained his first star in 2018 for his culinary creations as head chef of Caracol Gourmet. Prior to that, he worked in various Michelin-starred restaurants and under great chefs including Paolo Barrale (who also
featured in Luna Under the Stars last year).
The event costs €110 per person for a Michelin quality seven-course dinner with wine pairing.
