RAINFOREST CAFE: GLOBAL JUNGLE-THEMED RESTAURANT CHAIN TO OPEN IN MALTA

Soon you’ll be able to dine surrounded by elephants, gorillas, leopards, tigers, snakes, crocodiles, tropical birds, waterfalls, rain showers, lightning storms and more... because Rainforest Cafe is coming to Malta.

Rainforest Cafe is a popular international jungle-themed restaurant chain with over 20 locations across the globe including the US and London. It is very atmospheric, home to fun special effects and unapologetically gimmicky.

It is pretty similar to other international concept joints (in terms of food and being themed) such as Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe, but less Hollywood, more jungle.

I don’t think I personally know anyone who would specifically go for the food, but for families with kids, teenagers, animal lovers and locals wanting to experience something new, I think it’ll be a hit in Malta.

Rainforest Cafe Malta will be located on Bay Street (where The Hard Rock cafe used to be). I am assuming the menu will be similar to all the other franchises so you can expect burgers, steaks, rack of ribs, pasta dishes and American style salads.
Memorabilia will be available for you to buy.

Here is a little clip of what to expect in terms of the atmosphere and concept (especially for those who are reading this and thinking they’re actually using real animals).

Expect to open around Spring 2021/ Q2
