SALENA'S: VALLETTA'S STRAIT STREET IS GETTING A NEW RESTAURANT AND BAR

Strait Street is adding a new eatery to its foodie portfolio and it opens its doors this Friday (13th Dec).

Salena's is a 'bar and dine' which offers a relaxed and casual atmosphere with a capacity of 30.

They'll have plethora of platters to choose from such as cold cuts, cheese, a combo of both and a Maltese platter.

Starters include salmon carpaccio, duck spring rolls, aljotta and beef carpaccio, to name a few.

For mains, diners can tuck in to fish dishes such as octopus in garlic, local red prawns (cooked in Pernod and served with rice), herb crusted salmon and more.

Three cuts of Argentinean black Angus steaks, local pan-fried rabbit and chicken breast with mushrooms are part of the meat-based mains.

Salena's will also offer plenty of booze and I have no doubt it will be a welcomed addition to Valletta's beloved Strait Street.
