WHAT'S COOKING MALTA'S EIGHT-COURSE FUNDRAISING DINNER IN AID OF MIRIAM PACE'S FAMILY

Following the success of my last charity event on 24th Feb, which raised 3000EUR for Australia's wildlife, I very quickly decided to orchestrate another fundraising soiree in honour of Miriam Pace.

On Monday 30th March at Palazzo Preca (Valletta), I welcome you to attend a very special, completely candlit eight-course dinner where ALL proceeds will go to Miriam Pace's family. Over 100 candles will be lit on this night.

The night will start at 6.30pm with a welcome glass of prosecco and a crazy molecular cocktail (table side) concocted by Mixologist Eddie Bonello of Netflix fame. Whilst enjoying your drinks, a trio of creative snacks will roam around the room expertly prepared by Matthew Schembri of Lovage Bistro.

The other carefully-selected top local chefs includes the one and only Kevin Bonello (executive chef of de Mondion that just received a Michelin star) who will be cooking a soup and a fish course, Ramona & Roberta Preca who will prepare the pasta course and Steve Sika (The Lord Nelson) will lead the starters.

Kane Palmier from La Buona Trattoria del Nonna will execute the meat dish and finally, the talented Ryan Vella from Commando Restaurant (who were just awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin) will be treating you to a fancy dessert (unless you want a cheese platter courtesy of Fernando Gastrotheque). There will also be a molecular palate cleanser.

Wines will be flowing all night
thanks to P.Cutajar and top magician Gwilym Bugeja will be blowing people's minds with his tricks. Renowned photographer Brian Grech will have his camera ready to take all those perfect shots.

There will be a raffle on the night with amazing prizes to be had so please please bring cash. I'd like to say a massive thank you to my sponsors including JP Imports (meats), Frutti di Mare (fish), CPS (fruit and veg), Worldwide (baking goods), BLOOM Creative (artwork/design), Charles Grech (water) and of course Palazzo Preca for the venue, kitchen and service staff.

The price is 65EUR per person which includes an eight-course fine dining meal, free-flowing wine, a welcome glass of prosecco, a molecular cocktail and water. Doors open at 6.30pm with welcome drinks and snacks, dinner will start at 7.30pm.

RESERVATIONS: email info@palazzoprecarestaurant.eu or call them on 2122 6777. Bookings will NOT be confirmed until a 100% deposit is made to Palazzo Preca via Revolut or bank transfer (details will be sent via email after your booking request). NO REFUNDS.
