Malta. Kneaded. This (sorry).
Abby Hart, English owner of The Good Stuff, Malta's first microbakery, has been supplying the finest sourdough breads to some of the best restaurants and shops in Malta including Tartarun (Michelin-plated), Under Grain (Michelin-starred), soon Ion at The Harbour (Michelin-starred), The White Sheep and Naturasi, to name a few, will now open her own bakery for consumers.
The website, launching this Saturday May 15th, will stock some of her favourite baked goods such as her signature 100% sourdough breads (of course), Helwa tat-tork cruffins, gourmet sausage rolls (wrapped in sourdough rough pastry, stuffed with local pork herbs and sourdough breadcrumbs) and basque cheesecake.
Not only that, but The Good Stuff's online store will offer supplies you can't currently get in Malta including proofing baskets, premium bread flour and... for those of you who want to get on it, bread baking classes will start in June when the bakery has settled.
Take my money, Abby. Take my Money!
