THE MALTA CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL: BUT LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD!

Get ready for three straight days of premium craft beer, food, live music and more starting this Friday August 30th until Sunday September 1st. Where? At the second edition of the Malta Craft Beer Festival in Valletta.

With over 20 of your favorite local craft beer brewers, importers, and distributors, you already know what you’re getting in that department. But let’s show food some love by highlighting what will be offered by the food vendors at the festival this year.

Check out Manouche for all your sweet treats including ice cream sticks, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream tubs, all in a multitude of exciting flavours. Don’t forget about their pastries too from macarons to crepes and crème brûlée torched to order.

Head over to The Fork and Cork stall for some tasty food with names you won’t be able to keep out of your mouth, such as the Baker (ftira with pulled beef, ricotta cheese and sesame seeds) and the chickpea falafels. There'll also be the Poseidon (battered fish, fries and house dressing) and a gourmet chicken burger.

The Pulled Meat Company are offering a small, yet succulent menu at the festival featuring Pulled Pork Ftira (with Applewood cheddar and chutney), Arancini Pork Jus and a speciality House burger.

Finally, stop by KuYa. They’re showing off their diverse and authentic Asian cuisine with food options such as Vegan Gyoza, their signature Bang Bang Chicken, Pad Ka Pao (Thai basil, beef, rice and egg) or Thai Yellow Curry (with veg, chicken or beef).

Price of entry is €18 for the day (available at the door), or €33 for the entire weekend (online only). You'll be able to exchange your tickets for tokens to purchase beer.
