THE CHIP SHOP IN BIRKIRKARA IS CLOSING DOWN ITS DOORS

Oh my cod! The Chip Shop, Malta's only traditional British chippy, and one of the few places to get properly authentic fish & chips, is closing down its doors real soon.

The owner, Brett Gaston from Manchester, informed me that he decided to close the shop for personal reasons and commitments. However, he is willing to sell the business (not the premises) and offer in-depth training on his cooking methods.

On the bright side, service will still continue as normal until the first week of March, so you have three weeks to get your fix of good ol' fish & chips, battered sausage, mushy peas, battered mars bar, chip butty and more.

Good luck Brett!
