TOP MALTESE CHEFS JOIN FORCES FOR CHARITY DINNER IN AID OF LOCAL RESTAURANT MANAGER'S CANCER TREATMENT

 
 

Following the sold out charity dinner in aid of Kurt Spiteri (Sciacca Grill's manager), who currently suffers from stage three Hodgkins lymphoma, another culinary event is being held to help fund the cost of his treatment in Germany. Over €40k out of the €70k goal has been raised so far.

The four-course dinner, organised by Marvin Schembri of Porticello, will be held at Planet Hollywood on January 29th and will involve top Maltese chefs from the island's fine dining eateries. These include Ramona and Roberta Preca of Palazzo Preca, Kerstin Manicolo of Surf  N Turf, Luke Piscopo of HSixty6, Maria Sammut of 59 Republic, Joe Vella, the exec chef of The Hilton, Reuben Miceli of the Corinthia and more.

The menu is yet to be confirmed but a group of chefs will work on each course.

The team for the evening, including the waiters, will comprise of Kurt's friends who have volunteered. The food and beverage has generously been sponsored by some of Malta's top suppliers. 

The price is €100 per head and bookings will be taken on the first week of January. A deposit of €50 is required and there will be free parking at Planet Hollywood's car park for everyone.
