One of my favourite restaurants, The Chef's Table in Bugibba, will now be serving traditional Sundays roasts starting from Sept 8th. The award-winning Chef Alain Grech never cooks anything short of quality, so you can expect everything on the plate to be completely homemade.
The Sunday Roast menu includes roast chicken with piccallili (€15), roast pork belly with apple sauce (€15), roast beef with horseradish sauce (€18) and roast lamb with mint sauce (€18).
The roasts come with all the trimmings including seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy. With none of that frozen malarkey you find in so many places here!
So grab a proper roast, every Sunday from 12pm. I am sure it'll be a huge hit with the large British expat community, as well as the locals.
