YUGTO IS READY TO SERVE ITS POPULAR ASIAN STREET FOOD ONCE MORE IN A 470SQM SPACE IN SLIEMA

YUGTO, the popular Asian tapas eatery in Valletta which opened in March 2018, but despite its popularity, closed down in August 2019, is reopening its doors.

Opening in the first week of August 2020, YUGTO will be taking over Sliema's 470sqm old Stella Maris Band Club, and transforming it into the perfect hangout place with a chill lounge, a huge beer garden and a wine bar also serving cocktails.

Now for the important bit, the food. Expect the full list of YUGTO'S previous bao buns with stuffings such as beef brisket and pork rib, without forgetting a vegan option which proved to be a sellout (consisting of sweet potato and tofu).

Tapas/small plates will include homemade duck spring rolls, hand-wrapped chicken gyoza (with a coriander, soy sauce and honey glaze) and freshly-prepared dim sum items such as har gau (crystal shrimp dumplings) and pork and prawn siu mai.

Mains will come in the form of baby back ribs, 6-hour Korean pork belly stew, chicken curries and more.

You gotta go!
