A lot happened in 2019, Game of Thrones premiered its final season, the beloved Notre Dame Cathedral tragically caught on fire, Lady Gaga won her first Oscar, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle birthed a son, and of course, ’twas the year What’s Cooking, Malta came about.

What’s Cooking Malta is a fresh and independent lifestyle guide with the main purpose of feeding the curiosity of both locals and tourists. How? By discovering, researching, testing, and showcasing the best of what (I think) Malta has to offer in terms of restaurants, hotels, events, things to do, and more.

The actual website went to bed in 2019 but the brand remained alive on Facebook and with unique offline events (until 2024), constantly gaining a very strong amount of loyal followers in Malta and abroad. Well April 2025 is when it has officially risen from the ashes… and back with a bang.
