A family-friendly broad bean (ful) harvest and picnic event at Ta’ Lazzru Farm in Luqa
Get your green thumbs out and take your kiddos to an exciting interactive family-friendly experience honouring the season of broad beans aka ful. This Easter event is organised by Ta’ Lazzru, a women-run farm dedicated to delivering the freshest local produce whilst celebrating sustainability.
What makes this so exciting? You’ll get you harvest your own broad beans by picking them straight from the fields and, there’ll be farmed-themed Easter crafts where kids can paint eggs or decorate flower pots to take home.
Indulge in a nature-filled picnic including picnic baskets containing a farm-to-table traditional ftira (with local Bluefin tuna, broad beans, tomato, herbs and 2024 olive oil), fresh seasonal fruit, and water. Children will be provided with a ham and cheese sandwich, and water.
When: April 6th, 13th, 16th and 17th
Price: €25 for mother & child (3 years ad over), €15 for any additional adult, €10 per additional child. Price includes activities and a picnic basket. Tea, coffee, cookies and cake will be provided as extras.
Booking is a must and kids must and a dedicated play area will be available.
