My local Asian supermarket has announced that they're permanently shutting their doors down, and my heart hurts a little.
Aroma in St Julian's is the store of choice for when I want to stock up my pantry with Chinese produce such as shaoxing wine, soy sauce, Sichuan peppercorns, preserved black beans, noodles, bean pastes and more (I cook a lot of Chinese food and I do it often).
The closing date is September 20th, and they're currently offering 50% off everything in the store from now until then.
Time to stock up and support.
