I always like to not only support local foodie talent, but also give credit where credit is due... and it most certainly is in the case of Yogi Borg.
Yogi Borg is a talented 23-year-old Maltese chef who just moved to London to start an internship at the world-renowned two Michelin-star restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in Mayfair.
Considering Heston is one of the best chefs in the world, owning more than one Michelin eateries, this is a huge deal. I have been to Dinner by Heston Blumenthal twice and it is absolutely sensational (if you ever go I suggest the Meat Fruit).
Back to Yogi, he has worked at Surf N Turf under Kerstin Manicolo for 16 months, Villa Corinthia (as the Chef de Partie), HSixty and also at The Golden Fork in Attard (where the chef patron Letizia Vella also worked under Heston).
Yogi's internship is three weeks long and he will apply for a full-time position when it ends.
