IL-VECCJA: A NEW VEGAN EATERY AND WINE BAR IN ST PAUL'S BAY
The vegan food offering in Malta is growing stronger and stronger, we all know that, but there are only a handful of eateries that are completely vegan-focused... and here is another one to add to that list.
Due to open 1st July in St Paul's Bay, Il-Veccja, a vegan cafe and wine bar, promises to raise the flag for plant-based food and sustainability.
Aside from the stunning sea and hill views, guests at Il-Veccja can expect hearty platters which include items such as Paprika Chease, Aged Blue Chease, Vegan Ricotta, Ginger & Thyme Chease, Walnut Pate, Chilli & Lime Soft Chease and more. These will come with flatbread, olives and salad.
Snacks will come in the form of a Carrot Hot Dog, Chuna Roll, an Eggless Sandwich, a Toasted Chease Sandwich, a variety of sushi rolls and more.
Il-Veccja will also offer tons of vegan friendly desserts such as cupcakes, truffles and cakes, as well a menu for kids.
Homemade kombucha, cocktails and completely vegan wines will be behind the bar to quench your thirst.
