THE JESTERS' WEDDING: MALTA'S FIRST EVER ICE SKATING SHOW IS UPON US
Prepare yourself for the very first ice-skating show in Malta on 13th December at the Independence Arena Parade Ground in Floriana.
The Jesters' Wedding will be an adaptation of the Crystal Palace Ballet and you can expect an exciting combination of figure skating drama, theatre, live opera vocals, music and spectacular stage designs.
The show will be directed by Ilya Averbukh (a world-famous figure skater and Olympic silver medalist) with her internationally-praised Russian production company known for creating jaw-dropping ice shows using the best of the best ice performers.
What is the show actually about? Well, it's set in Russia in the 18th century under the ruling of Empress Anna who was a fan of unusual entertainment. She even married two of her court jesters in a place built of ice on the Neva river.
Get ready for baroque costumes, natural ice, digital projections and tons of fun!
Tickets cost between €15 - €80 and is in association with the European Foundation for Support of Culture.
