NEW JIAOZI DUMPLING AND LIANG MIAN NOODLE JOINT LANDS IN VALLETTA

The Drunken Dumpling might sound like a nickname given to THAT hot mess at a bar, but it's actually a new Asian joint that specialises in dumplings and noodles, freshly-prepared and handmade on the spot. I randomly discovered it whilst frolicking on a Sunday.

Located in Valletta, the Drunken Dumpling's short menu consists of three types of dishes. One section flies the flag for Jiaozi dumplings (lamb, beef or veg). There are many kinds of dumplings in China but Jiaozi are one of the classics (don't mistake them with dim sum).

On the noodle front you will liang mian noodles. These are usually cold noodles which are a popular in Taiwan and other regions of China. Drunken Dumpling offers them served with beef, chicken or veg.

Let's not forget the bread section offering roujiamo (beef or chicken). Roujiamo, (the Chinese equivalent to a hamburger) translates to 'meat in a bun'. It was born in the province of the Shaanxi province, but is enjoyed in many parts of China as a street food.

That's it folks, do what you will with this information. I will definitely be trying it.
