28 WORTHY VALENTINE'S DAY MENUS IN MALTA: THE 2020 GUIDE

 

The unapologetically commercialised holiday known as Valentine's Day is around the corner, and I don't know about you, but I much prefer experiences to gifts, especially of the gastronomy or the travel kind. 

Upon my research, I went through tons of Valentine's Day menus over the last few days... and these 28 are the ones that caught my eye. So here is my carefully-selected list to cater to most tastes and budgets.

Cosmana Navarra, Rabat

 

What: Expect an amuse bouche platter including crumbled feta cheese and grilled octopus on smokey mash. Starters include calamari and prawn tortellini tossed in asparagus and lobster bisque. With main courses such as a pork fillet wellington.

What: A delectable five-course meal consisting of a chowder soup with sweetcorn and cauliflower, scallop carpaccio or tortellacci (with duck confit, foie gras, straciatella, cream) to begin.

Meagre (with champagne, cockels and cream sauce), giant prawns (with purple octopus, grilled calamari and citrus gel) or braised veal cheek are what to be expected from the main courses.
