TWO BUOYS 2.0: WHEN MALTA MEETS MELBOURNE FOR BRUNCH... IN SPINOLA BAY

'Where Melbourne Meets Malta', that's what the new and refurbished concept of Two Buoys in Spinola Bay is all about. The revamped eatery is the brainchild of three friends, one from Australia, who wanted to show the island how they do brunch Down Under.

The breakfast and vast brunch offering at Two Buoys is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. The dishes are colourful, healthy, creative and beautifully presented.

Wrap your lips around the Smashed Avo. Not your typical avocado on toast, here you'll find it upgraded thanks to the soy pepitas, hummus, blistered cherry tomatoes, marinated feta, and herb citrus dressing. So many textures on one piece of bread.

If you like bagels, then prepared to be impressed. There's the Newport bagel (with pulled pork, halloumi, poached eggs, tumeric hollandaise and bacon dust) and the Melbourne bagel, an open bagel topped with avo, spinach, tumeric hollandaise, poached egg and your choice of either mushrooms, bacon or salmon.

Other plates include burgers, gourmet paninis, fried calamari and a scrumptious prawn and chorizo linguine, to name a few.

Did I mention that all this can be enjoyed either inside surrounded by quirky nautical interiors, or outside with stunning views of the picturesque Spinola Bay?
