KEITH SEYCHELL OF CAPO CRUDO TO OPEN A GOURMET BURGER AND SALAD BAR IN MARSASCALA
Keith Seychell, founder of the amazing Capo Crudo in Valletta, is opening up a new eatery together with Kevin Buttigieg on Marsascala's waterfront.
Opening in January 2020, Hard Attack, promises to be an exceptionally gourmet burger and salad bar where diners will be able to customise their meal to cater for their personal taste, or choose from the extensive main menu.
On the burger front, Chef Arnold Bonsfield has curated a a selection of more than a dozen options. Each burger will be freshly-prepared right in front of your eyes and the patties will consist of 200g Angus beef, hand-rolled and seasoned.
Choose from The Boss Burger (with caramelised onions, brie, rucola, serano ham and truffle mayo), The Prophet (with a crab cake surprise within the beef patty), The Al Capone (with chorizo sausage, avocado and BBQ chipotle mayo), the FAT Tony (swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, red onions, smoked bacon and horseradish mayo) and more.
Non beef burgers include The Hammer (with BBQ pulled pork, crispy onions, mature cheddar, crispy ham, honey mustard mayo), BIG-TUNA (with grilled Asian sushi grade ahi ahi tuna and wasabi mayo) or The Godfather (with steamed and grilled lobster meat and lemon wasabi mayo).
You'll also be able invited to customise your burgers to your liking by choosing the kind of meat, bun, cheese (six cheeses to choose from), toppings and homemade sauces you'd like.
When it comes to salads, Hard Attack will allow you to create your own by choosing the base, three kinds of veg, meats (salmon, marinated chicken or veal) and any other additional ingredient you require. There will be approximately 35 ingredients to choose from.
Fully loaded piadinas, hot dogs, buffalo wings and fried chicken strips will also be on the menu!
Milkshakes (such as the Oreo milkshake) and exceptionally healthy freshly-pressed juices (including the Lean Green with kale, cucumbers, parsley, celery, pineapple and apple) will be available to quench your thirst.
