The dining in the dark concept is a popular one across the world, and one which I am very much fond of. Not only is it a fun experience, but studies show that most people tend to eat with their eyes, so when you remove that sense, it allows for all your other senses to be completely elevated.
On December 11th at 7.30pm, ITS (Institute of Tourism Studies) invites you to a unique culinary experience where diners will enjoy a gourmet five-course tasting menu whilst blindfolded. This will be held at their Runway restaurant.
The menu, prepared by an ITS Bachelor in Culinary Arts student, includes porto wine-poached pears (with air dried parma ham, smoked goat cheese mousse, red wine reduction, chili pepper dust), a ceviche of meagre, and mustard seed coated beef tongue (with dehydrated horseradish shavings, beetroot caviar and fermented apple salad), to name a few.
And guess what, the five-course menu will only cost you 17EUR (excluding drinks).
Seats are very limited. To book email restaurants@its.edu.mt or call them on 23793255
