Bistro Boca introduces 30% off its Michelin-recommended à la carte menu
One of the best things about eating out in London is that some genuinely excellent restaurants quietly make themselves more accessible during the week. Whether it’s a pre-theatre menu or an early evening offer, even Michelin-starred and Michelin-recommended places understand that filling tables beats empty prestige.

It’s a concept I’d love to see more of in Malta, so credit where it’s due: Bistro Boca in Ta’ Xbiex, a modern bistro inspired by French classics in a lively waterfront setting, has introduced 30% off its à la carte food menu every Tuesday to Thursday for early diners.

Don’t mistake the Michelin recommendation for anything overly formal, though. It’s the kind of place where you’re not afraid to use the wrong fork. The menu is unapologetically French (the real deal), with dishes including moules frites, steak tartare, sole meunière, duck confit, côte de porc grillée and crème brûlée, all served against one of the island’s best waterfront backdrops.

If you’ve been meaning to try it but have been waiting for the right excuse, this is probably it.
Offer details: 30% off the à la carte food menu, valid Tuesday to Thursday from 17:45 to 18:30 on advance online bookings through TheFork. The discount applies to food only, excludes drinks and other promotions, reservations must be made at least one hour in advance, and walk-ins aren’t eligible.
