Malta’s First and Only Indoor Golf Lounge Is Opening in Gzira — And It’s a Full-On Hangout
Whether you genuinely think you could give Tiger Woods a run for his money, or the only thing you know about golf is how to spell it, Malta is about to get a new place to play.

The Sweet Spot, Malta’s first indoor golf lounge, is opening in Gzira this month (August 2026) — with three TrackMan bays, more than 500 courses, a full bar, pool, darts, shuffleboard and plenty going on beyond the golf itself.
Serious Golf. No Golf Knowledge Required.
Because this isn’t golf with the serious bits removed. Quite the opposite. The TrackMan technology is the real deal, with the sort of data and analysis serious players can properly geek out over. There’s also a private VIP TrackMan bay with its own access to the bar.

If none of those words mean anything to you, the less technical explanation is considerably simpler: pick up a club, swing a ball at an enormous screen and see what happens. Preferably while your friends stand behind you offering completely unsolicited technical advice.
More Than a 19th Hole

And if swinging anything sounds too much like exercise, there’s plenty else going on. The full bar has cocktails and a rotating selection of beers on tap, with a daily happy hour.

There’s pool, professional-level darts and shuffleboard, plus a dedicated putting green for practising your shorter shots. Large screens around the venue show the sporting action, and there are two outdoor areas when you fancy some actual fresh air. Nobody’s checking your golfing credentials at the door.
Eat Whatever You Want. Literally.
Food is pleasingly uncomplicated too. The Sweet Spot is working with eeetwell, initially offering a discount code with food delivered straight to the venue, with a dedicated set menu also in the works. Fancy something else? Order from any restaurant you like and the team will warm it up and serve it on a proper plate. Frankly, more places should do this.

Bays are charged by the hour rather than per person, regardless of how many people are playing, and walk-ins are welcome. Memberships will offer discounted play, food and drink discounts, priority booking and member events, with 24/7 access coming soon.

Add date nights, birthdays, after-work drinks, corporate events and groups of friends into the equation, and The Sweet Spot starts making considerably more sense as a hangout than simply somewhere to practise your swing.
Opening hours are currently planned for 9am–11pm, with the official opening date being finalised.

Serious golf if you want it. Drinks, games and absolutely no idea what a nine iron is if you don’t.
