JYSK Is Opening Its Biggest Store in Burmarrad With a Grand Opening Event

If your idea of a productive weekend involves popping in for “just one thing” and somehow leaving with a new armchair, linen bedding and enough home décor to convince yourself you’ve completely reinvented the living room, keep Thursday 30th July free.

JYSK is opening the doors to its third Maltese store in Burmarrad, finally giving shoppers north of the island a much closer option for everything from furniture and mattresses to soft furnishings, lighting and those small decorative pieces that tend to multiply somewhere between the entrance and the till.

First Lija. Then Qormi. Now Burmarrad. At more than 1,200 square metres, the new branch will be JYSK’s biggest in Malta, with plenty of room dedicated to furniture, home décor and practical upgrades for every corner of the house.

The store is marking its arrival with a grand opening event featuring finger food and drinks, ice cream treats, scratch cards, a lottery and a one-minute shopping experience for selected visitors. There will also be opening offers of up to 60% off selected items, which is a fairly convincing reason to revisit whichever room you’ve been threatening to sort out for the past three years.

A larger store up north therefore feels both useful and mildly dangerous for the St Paul Bayers. The classic “I’m only having a look” scenario, now with considerably more floor space.

Whether you’re glowing up a new place, refreshing a tired room or simply incapable of walking past a well-placed cushion, Burmarrad is about to become a very practical detour.
