The Meat Is Back: Gzira’s All-You-Can-Eat Brazilian Rodizio Returns

Apparently, one round of unlimited meat wasn’t enough. For those who missed it the first time, or have been waiting for an excuse to do it all over again, The Spot in Gzira is bringing back its Brazilian rodizio. Portion control has once again been politely shown the door.

Following its October event, The Spot by Brazilian chef Thais Sampaio is hosting another all-you-can-eat affair on Sunday, 1 November, with two hours to work your way through a rather substantial line-up of grilled meats and Brazilian sides.

The barbecue selection includes picanha, beef rump, beef tagliata, chicken hearts, chicken wings, Toscana sausage and pork steak, alongside halloumi and garlic bread.

On the side, expect rice, beans, farofa (toasted cassava flour), chips, salad, vinaigrette and fried banana. Essentially, a menu that requires a little strategy and possibly some advance planning around breakfast.

The format remains straightforward. Meat and sides are brought directly to your table, with further rounds served once you’ve finished the previous one. You can eat as much as you like during your sitting, although excessive food waste may incur an additional charge. Drinks and desserts are charged separately.

Two hours, unlimited meat and absolutely nowhere to hide if you’ve been talking a big game about your appetite.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, with no regular table bookings accepted. To secure a place, contact the restaurant directly on WhatsApp at +356 9914 6919.

Price: €40 per person
Times: 12:30pm–2:30pm and 4pm–6pm
